Ekso Bionics has developed a wearable bionic suit (see below) which enables individuals with any lower extremity weakness (paralyzed) to stand up and walk. The suit is used to train people with neurological conditions such as stroke and traumatic brain injury to walk again. To my surprise, Ekso’s breakthrough story has been covered by nationwide providers like CNN and Bloomberg.

As for my own daughter, I did make an attempt to breastfeed, but felt uncomfortable with it because I couldn tell how much she was actually eating, so I decided to try to express the milk for her and bottle feed it. Much to my surprise, in spite of a 48DDD bra size, I was unable to produce enough milk for her. (The joke always being something like Dang, girl, I bet your kids would NEVER go hungry LOL) Not to mention the fact that I wasn eating properly anyway, so what milk I did express would give her gas, upset tummy, things like that.
